The Hale Engineering team recently undertook a significant upgrade for Moove Lubricants Ltd based in Kent, replacing an outdated Siemens PLC with the latest model in their drum system.
The company needed the system to be upgraded as the existing PLC system was too old to satisfy their needs, was having periodic failures, which was extremely hard to troubleshoot given the absence of circuit diagrams and spare parts; hard to source and costly.
Our team converted and improved the old existing PLC program to run on a brand-new Siemens PLC and despite lacking an electrical diagram, were able to reverse engineer the panel and upgrade the system to the latest technology, improving safety, efficiency, and diagnostics leaving the extremely satisfied customer with a future proofed enhanced control panel and up to date current circuit diagrams.
